Estimate your monthly SERP provider spend before you connect keys.
Each result page covers up to 10 positions. Estimates assume full depth; usage can be lower when your site is found earlier.

One check tracks one keyword in one market on one device. A market combines a location and language. Top 20 can fetch two result pages per check; Top 100 can fetch ten. The estimate below assumes full depth and uses your selections above.
SERP provider pricing usually falls into one of two shapes: every check has a unit cost, or a monthly plan includes a search allowance.
| Model | Example | Cost basis | Tradeoff |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pay-as-you-go per check | DataForSEO | Each check is priced by the provider pages its depth needs. | Follows actual volume, with no plan step-up. |
| Subscription plan | SerpApi | A monthly plan includes a fixed number of searches. | Predictable, but cost per check jumps at each threshold. |
Short answers about provider pricing, check volume, and spend control.
Self-hosted, yes: bisibility is open source under the AGPL. The cloud version is free during the open beta and will be priced after it. Either way you use your own provider keys and pay the provider directly. This calculator estimates that provider spend only.
Pay-as-you-go pricing charges a unit rate for each check you run. Subscription pricing charges for a monthly plan that includes a search allowance, so cost changes when your usage crosses plan thresholds.
The calculator multiplies keywords by markets, devices, pages per check, and runs per month. A market combines a location and language. Top 20 uses up to two pages per check, so one keyword in one market on one device, checked daily, needs up to 60 result pages over 30 runs. Finding your site earlier can lower actual usage.
Frequency multiplies the usage from your keywords, markets, devices, and depth. Daily tracking is modeled as 30 runs per month, weekly as 4, and monthly as 1.
Yes. Desktop and mobile are separate device contexts, so tracking both devices runs two provider checks for each keyword and market.
No. Competitor positions are read from the same SERP snapshot as your own keyword check, so they add zero additional provider checks.
DataForSEO Live pricing depends on configured depth: Top 10 is about $0.002 per check ($6 for 3,000 daily checks), while Top 100 is about $0.0155 per check ($46.50 for the same 3,000 checks). The first page uses the base rate and each additional page costs 75% of it.
SerpApi is modeled with five public monthly tiers: Free is $0 for 250 searches, Starter is $25 for 1,000, Developer is $75 for 5,000, Production is $150 for 15,000, and Big Data is $275 for 30,000. One Top-N check uses up to ceil(N/10) searches, so Top 10 uses up to one search and Top 100 uses up to 10, usually fewer with the default stop-on-match setting. Enterprise pricing is custom and not included in the calculator.
Yes. Every project starts with a $50.00 default monthly SERP provider spend cap, and project owners or admins can change it anytime in Settings > Provider usage.
The calculator uses provider rates stamped with a checked-on date, then the app records the provider-reported spend for every completed check. DataForSEO refunds unused requested depth automatically, so real per-check cost can be slightly lower.
Cloud (free in beta) or self-hosted under AGPL. Both run on your own provider keys, so the provider bills you directly. Every check records what it cost.
