Each rank check keeps a snapshot of the Google results around your position, so SERP history builds as you track. Compare two to see who entered, moved or dropped out.

Compare
Pick an earlier and a later check of the same keyword. Every domain gets one label, with your site outlined and the competitors you added tagged.
1 Entered · 1 Moved up · 2 Moved down · 1 Unchanged · 1 Dropped out
Both checks retrieved the top 8, so the comparison covers positions 1 to 8.
These checks used different providers: DataForSEO (Sep 12, 2026) and SerpApi (Sep 27, 2026). Domains entering or dropping out may reflect the provider switch, not movement in Google.
COMPARISON NOT POSSIBLE
These two checks cannot be compared
The two checks overlap over fewer than three positions, so there is nothing to compare.

New to the terms? Read what SERP features are
SERP history is a record of what a search results page looked like at past points in time. In bisibility, every rank check keeps the Google results around your position: the ranked pages, their domains and the SERP features on the page.
Rank history is one number per check: where your page ranked. A snapshot keeps the results around it: who ranked above and below you and which features were on the page. Rank history draws the trend; the snapshot explains one point on it.
Open the keyword, switch the snapshot card to Compare two, and pick checks from before and after the drop. Each domain gets a label, so you can name who passed you. Ranking URL history shows whether Google swapped which of your pages ranks.
Hosted workspaces keep full detail for 90 days, then a compact record with each domain's best position. Your own positions and rank history are not removed. Self-hosted instances keep full detail as long as you keep the database, unless you set a retention period.
No. A snapshot is saved from the check you already ran, on your DataForSEO or SerpApi account or with credits, so there is no extra call. Fetching the next 10 results of a SerpApi snapshot uses up to one more search, priced before you confirm.
